Government and Business Delegation from Baden-Württemberg, Germany Visits APQ in Suzhou to Explore New Opportunities for Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation

On July 8, 2026, the “Baden-Württemberg–Xiangcheng Industrial Ecosystem Exchange 2026” was held in Xiangcheng, Suzhou. In the afternoon, the government and business delegation from Baden-Württemberg, Germany visited Suzhou APQ IoT Technology Co., Ltd. for in-depth technical exchange and an on-site tour. The visit was an important part of the exchange event, aiming to deepen cooperation between China and Germany in intelligent manufacturing and the robotics industry, while promoting precise collaboration across upstream and downstream industrial chains.

The border patrol inspection robot needs to process multiple HD video streams in real time and perform deep learning inference tasks such as personnel and vehicle recognition and abnormal behavior analysis. This requires strong AI computing performance while keeping power consumption within a reasonable range for a battery-powered mobile platform.

Government-Enterprise Collaboration: High-Level Delegation Conducts In-Depth Visit

The delegation was led by Mr. Schmid, Head of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg. Delegation members included government officials such as Gunnar Mey, Director of Baden-Württemberg International, and Henning, Chief Representative of the Baden-Württemberg Representative Office in China. The delegation also included senior executives from well-known German companies such as Bosch, Porsche, IPR Intelligente

Peripherien für Roboter, and Neura Robotics, as well as more than 20 expert representatives from research institutions and universities including the Fraunhofer IPA  and Hochschule

Offenburg University. The delegation covered multiple fields, including robotics, intelligent manufacturing, automotive technology, and precision engineering. The high-level government-enterprise delegation demonstrated Baden-Württemberg’s strong commitment to this exchange.

Immersive experience, technical exchange, and product demonstration

During the visit, the delegation toured APQ’s brand corridor, corporate showroom, and partner wall. In the first-floor lobby, the delegation gained an initial understanding of APQ’s company profile and industry position through digital display screens. In the brand corridor, APQ highlighted its technical expertise in industrial automation and its early-mover advantages in embodied intelligent controllers. In the showroom, the delegation learned in detail about APQ’s full product portfolio, core technical capabilities, and market applications in industrial controllers and embodied robotics.

Deepening International Cooperation and Supporting Industrial Upgrading

As a benchmark company in the field of core controllers for embodied intelligent robots, APQ has developed an innovative “perception brain + motion-control cerebellum” dual-brain collaborative architecture, effectively addressing long-standing challenges in robotics such as distributed computing resources and high latency. Among its product portfolio, the TER series controllers for embodied intelligence adopt a dual-domain fusion architecture, integrating up to 275 TOPS of AI computing power within a compact form factor. The AK series cartridge-style intelligent controllers, powered by the AGX Orin platform, are widely adaptable to robotic arms, AGVs, quadruped robots, humanoid robots, and other application scenarios. At present, APQ products have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions, including Germany, France, and Singapore. In March this year, APQ appeared at Embedded World 2026 in Germany, where its robust products and innovative technologies attracted global industry attention.
